Nick Price is a 2016 C/RHP, 3B with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Aurora, IL who attends Waubonsie Valley. Medium frame, athletic build. Hits from an open stance with an upright stance, line drive swing plane with quick hands, strong hands, contact approach, late trigger causes a lot of late contact to the opposite field but has the hand speed to catch up and put the ball in play, can improve contact ability with adjustment. Quick release on catch and throw, accurate throws in catcher workout, good transfer, medium arm action. Long arm action on the mound pitching from a high three quarters arm slot, cuts off extension out front causing early release for high misses frequently. Good arm side run on fastball, big sweeping break on curveball, good control of curveball, shows potential on the mound with better extension. Good student, named to the National Underclass Session 3 top prospect team.
