Jeff Belge is a 2016 LHP with a 6-4 235 lb. frame from Syracuse, NY who attends Henninger HS. Big and strong high waisted build, wide strong lower half. Well paced leg raise delivery, good line to the plate, stays balanced well, 3/4's to slightly above arm slot, gets over his front side will with good extension out front. Fastball to 92 mph with good downhill angle, have seen up to 94 in the past, mostly straight, works to the glove side effectively. gets good spin on his curveball with good two-plane depth, did not see a change up this outing but has shown one frequently in prior events. Good student, verbal commitment to St. Johns. Named to the Perfect Game All-American Classic team.
