Parker Upton is a 2016 SS/RHP with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Grand Island, NE who attends Grand Island HS. Medium athletic build with good present strength and live bodied actions. 6.89 runner, works through the ball well in the infield, has fluidity and balance to his actions, good arm strength with accurate throws. Switch hitter, bit looser with a bit better bat speed from the right side, still has good bat speed left handed and is a legit switch-hitter, ball comes off his bat hard from both sides, has extra base gap power and showed it, nice looking young hitter. Also pitched, balanced well paced delivery, 3/4's extended arm slot. Fastball to 80 mph, nice change up with good tailing action threw both a slider and curveball, pounded the strike zone with all four pitches. Excellent student.
