Cole Halfacre is a 2016 C with a 6-1 200 lb. frame from Cantonment, FL who attends J. M. Tate HS. Large, athletic build with a strong, physical build and plenty of present strength. Ran a 7.95 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, quick transfer with a short arm action on throws down to second base, hands work, blocks well in dirt, gets tall at release, receives well with good carry on accurate throws. Left-handed hitter, starts with a high hand set and back elbow and shows a sound approach in the box. Rotational swing, short and quick bat path with quick hands and natural lift to pull side. Very fluid swing path with jump off the barrel. Transfers weight well, slight wrap at start of swing. Pull approach, recognizes off speed well, long finish. Very good student. Named to National Underclass East Top Prospect List.
