Bradley McPeek is a 2005 first baseman/third baseman from Speedwell Tennessee with a very strong upper body at 6 ft. 1 200 pounds. He hits from an open stance with a pull approach and some loft in his swing plane. He has strong arms and hands. He is quick to the ball and creates very good bat speed with the potential to hit for big time power. He hit much better during the games with solid contact and hard line drives. Defensively, he has smooth actions and good footwork around the bag. He has playable defensive skills, and he will hit for big power at the next level. Bradley is a good student.

Bradley McPeek is a very strong 2005 first baseman from Speedwell, TN, who we’ve seen frequently before at events. It looks to us like he’s made some changes, intentionally or unintentionally, to his swing that have not helped. We’ve seen him crush some balls in the past and hit the ball a long way, which is his primary ticket to play at the highest levels. In Fort Myers, McPeek’s swing was much more inside out and he lacked the kind of extension he had in the past, although he did get a couple of good hits during game competition. When he’s swinging aggressively through the ball, McPeek is a potential middle of the order big college run producer. We’ll monitor his progress the next time we see him play. We know it's there because we've seen it. Bradley is a good student.

Bradley McPeek is an extra strong 2005 first baseman from Tennessee with big time potential with the bat. We’ve noticed over a couple of events that he’s a much better game hitter than batting practice hitter. A switch hitter, McPeek is strong enough and generates enough serious bat speed to have lots of extra base/home run power with wood, but tends to loft the ball a bit too much in BP. During games McPeek is shorter and more balanced and lined a number of extremely hard hit balls to the middle of the field off live pitching, as he usually does. College coaches should try to see him in games, as he probably can really drive the ball a long ways with metal in his hands. McPeek profiles to first base and shows soft hands and an enthusiastic approach at first base. He shows great make up and his hitting ability will create a lot of interest. He runs well for a big guy too. Bradley is a good student.

Bradley McPeek -- McPeek is a big strong 6-1 junior first baseman from Tennessee. As broad shoulder as McPeek is right now, it looks like he could even harden and strengthen his body some more. McPeek is a switch hitter with somewhat different approaches from each side. As a right handed swinger, he has a level, quick line drive swing that’s going to produce a lot of doubles. From the left side, McPeek has more loft in his swing and incorporates more of his lower half into his swing. With his strength and present skills, McPeek looks like a very strong hitter for the next level and a switch hitter with power is always an advantage. McPeek runs OK for a big man and shows good instincts around the bag.. Bradley is a very good student. Keep a close eye on this switch hitting power prospect.

Bradley is a big strong 1B who has some pop in his bat. He switch hits, very good hitter both ways, but we like his left handed swing the best. Open stance, nice swing, strong, has excellent power potential even with wood. Hit well in the games, the ball comes off his bat in a hurry. Plays hard and should keep improving. Projects as a first baseman, plays the position well. Could improve running times, but knows what he's doing on the bases. Could improve arm strength, but arm plays fine at 1st Base. He's only an "05" and should be followed as a hitter especially. If his other skills improve he could become a high level college guy. Looks like he loves the game, might be a great makeup kid. Also pitches, but his future is as a player.
