Andrew Holsten is a 2014 LHP/ with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from Oak Hill, VA who attends Thomas Jefferson. Extra large frame, long limbs and room to fill out. Projectable body. Left handed pitcher who throws from a three quarters arm slot with a short arm action in back. Compact delivery and hides the ball well. Sat 73-75 mph with fastball, topping 76, and flashes both sink and arm side run with the pitch. Has a nice feel for curveball at 59 mph that shows 1/7 shape. Slows arm speed on curveball but locates it well on outside corner to right handed hitters. Good command of strike zone. Very good student.
