Logan Betts is a 2016 RHP with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Newnan, GA who attends The Heritage HS. Slender young athletic build, plenty of room to get stronger. Compact delivery, gets his hips turned well, stays over the rubber well, compact arm action with a high 3/4's release point, creates good downhill angle to the plate, low effort release, solid overall mechanics. Fastball topped out at 84 mph, gets good fastball life arm side and down i n the zone. Curveball flashes good spin and some bite and depth, will get on the side of it at times for more of a sweeping break. Rare change up. Throws strikes and has an idea how to pitch. Good student.
