David Niddrie is a 2017 3B/RHP with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from San Diego, CA who attends Torrey Pines. Niddrie has a medium sized frame with an athletic build. Defensively he has solid actions on the infield with solid footwork to the baseball. Niddrie has a shorter transfer and a shorter arm action. He has arm strength up to 75 MPH. In game he made a good diving back handed play at 3B and made a strong throw. At the plate, he starts with a slightly open stance and uses a foot lift trigger to start his swing. Niddrie has some strength in his swing with gap to gap pop. He has some bat speed with occasional lift. Excellent student.
