Bryan Nicholson is a 6' 180 pound first baseman, outfielder, and left handed pitcher from Garden Grove, California who attends Pacifica High School. He has a projectable body with room for added muscle. Bryan showed some pure arm strength in the field by throwing 74 mph across the infield. He has a quick online release and he handles himself well in the field with his solid hands and footwork around the bag. At the plate, Nicholson has a wide base and uses a small stride towards contact. He has a strength type approach that is simple and he is tough to get off balance. He has a little weight shift to help him get started and has strength to all fields. He should hit in the heart of the lineup and be productive at the next level. Bryan topped out at 78 mph on the mound with his fastball which he throws from a 3/4 arm slot. His breaking ball is his best pitch which he throws at 70 mph. He has a good feel for it and it has very good late depth to it. He has an even tempo delivery that is very balanced and he finishes out front very well.
