Hunter Weems is a 2017 C/ with a 5-7 125 lb. frame from Baytown, TX who attends Barbers Hill HS. Weems has a young-medium build. As a catcher he showed good footwork with a good transfer and release, kept the ball in front of him, can improve by setting up lower as a catcher. As a right handed hitter he hit from a square stance, line drive swing plane. Has a good fundamental base as a hitter and can improve with added strength and use of his lower half in his swing.
