Tyler Beal is a 2014 C/MIF with a 5-8 160 lb. frame from Tallahassee, FL who attends Lawton Chiles HS. Medium frame with room to fill. Right handed hitter, open stance, short swing, has some strength in swing, more advanced from the left side. Left handed hitter, good swing plane, has gap power, short swing, loose out front and makes hard pull contact, good approach at plate, squares ball up. As an outfielder, long arm action with a low 3/4 release, good mechanics, arm is playable. Named to top prospect team. Excellent student.
