James Whiteman is a 2015 RHP/OF with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Lakeville, IN who attends St. Joseph HS. Long slender build, looks taller than listed, very projectable physically. Long loose arm action, low 3/4's to sidearm slot, tends to drift in delivery at times. Upper 70's fastball, topped at 79 mph, big early sink and run, commands fastball well with best life when staying back in his delivery, will need to improve locating ball to the glove side. Somewhat lower slot on change up, gets good life on change as well. Did not throw a breaking ball, obvious candidate for a big sweeping slurve with his arm slot. Should keep developing with additional strength.

James Whiteman is a 2015 RHP/OF with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Lakeville, IN who attends St. Joseph. Long frame, slender well proportioned build, projects well physically. Pitches from a sidearm slot, long arm action, cuts off finish to arm stroke, creates severe angle from 3B side of the rubber that makes it very difficult for right handed hitters to track the ball out of his hand. Works quickly with a fast paced delivery, deceptive motion, big sweeping frisbee breaking ball with big run to glove side. Short swing at the plate, rotational, deep load, line drive swing plane.
