Nicholas Rush is a 2015 SS/3B, C, 2B with a 5-9 145 lb. frame from Las Vegas, NV who attends Liberty. Rush has a medium sized frame with a lean athletic projectable build. He has quick transfers and release defensively with developing arm strength. He has developing actions defensively on the infield. Rush also worked out behind the plate and showed good actions and quick transfers on his pop throws. Presently his tools project better behind the plate. At the plate, Rush starts with a slightly open stance and uses a hand drop load to start his swing. He has a flat bat path and has some bat speed. Rush has some hitting tools and made some hard contact at times. Excellent student.
