Wilfredo Rivera Vega is a 2013 RHP with a 6-2 200 lb. frame from Yabucoa, PR who attends Ramon Quinones HS. Solid athletic build, good present strength. Slow paced hands over head delivery, drop and drive mechanics, tight mid 3/4's arm slot, good arm speed. Fastball topped out at 88 mph, has flat running action, straightens when up in the zone, best command is to the glove side, gets wild arm side. Drops elbow on curveball and gets way under it at release, soft flat break. Very good raw arm strength but will have to develop off speed pitches for next level.
