Christopher Gonzalez is a 2013 RHP/SS with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Canovanas, PR who attends Santa Gema Academy. Medium athletic build, room to get stronger. Smooth fast paced delivery, compact arm action, high 3/4's release point, some effort at release, could use lower half better in delivery, fast arm. Mid to upper 80's fastball, topped out at 89 mph, good arm side running action at times, primary fastball pitcher. Flashed some power to a mid 70's curveball but inconsistent on release and spin. Two-way prospect. 6.89 runner, shows big arm strength in the infield, good release, works through the ball, has footwork and soft enough hands. Right handed hitter, front side hitter with a simple line drive swing, mid field contact, handles the barrel well and stays balanced, contact approach. Could develop best either way.

Christopher Gonzalez is a 2013 SS/RHP with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Canovanas, PR who attends Santa Gema Academy. Medium athletic build, good present strength.. Right handed hitter, front side hitter, drifts into contact, foot occasionally late, aggressive swing with some bat speed, mid field contact with some gap power, ball carries well. 6.79 runner, big infield arm strength from over the top release, good quick release, moves well laterally but tends to wait back on the ball, can also play third base. Also pitched, steady 86-87 mph fastball from a calm leg raise delivery, quick arm, hard curveball spin with good velocity and good biting action, has a feel for his curveball, quality pitch. Versatile athlete and 2-way prospect. Good student.
