Ran a 6.99 60 yard. Sound infield actions, good arm strength across the diamond, looks like he'll profile well at second base, has good hands, developing arm should continue improving. Right-handed hitter, slightly open setup, narrow stance, stays short to the baseball, weight ends up front side, needs to get more balance, middle of the field approach, flashes good bat speed. Excellent student.

Carlos Ramos is a 2013 2B/IF with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Yabucoa, PR who attends Teodoro Aguilar Mora HS. Medium athletic build, some present strength. Right handed hitter, exaggerated open stance, gets to front side early with long stride, big separation, aggressive swing, tends to reach on the outside half, ball comes off the barrel well when he waits back. 7.15 runner, light on his feet defensively, shows range, soft hands with a clean exchange and release, accurate throws, second base arm strength. Very good student.
