As a right handed hitter, Busch hits from an upright and open stance with high hands. He is a line drive hitter with good gap power. Ryan has good body control at first base and solid actions defensively. As a right handed pitcher, he throws from a 3/4 arm slot with good arm speed. He has a balanced delivery with solid command. His fastball has sink at times at 75 mph.
