Alex Brooks is a 6' 175 pound 2006 third baseman and second baseman from Winter Haven, Florida who has a tall frame and is very strong in his core. He has very smooth actions defensively and solid footwork. Alex has a quick release on his throws and is very smooth and quick with his transfers. He turns the double play very well and showed his good actions and arm in the game. At the plate, Brooks has a very quiet approach. He showed very good bat speed with some loft in his swing. He has home run power that projects to get even better. His swing is very compact as well. Alex is an excellent student as well with a 3.85 gpa, a 1080 on his SAT, and a 23 on his ACT.
