Richard "Matt" Cyr is a 2014 OF/2B with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from New Ipswich, NH who attends Mascenic Regional. Young projectable frame with a lean athletic build. Starts with an open stance at the plate with a leg lift trigger. Is a line drive contact hitter who makes consistent contact at the plate with bat speed. Is able to go with the pitch well, and has quick hands. Fields through the ball well in the outfield, has a long arm action, will gain velocity by getting on top of the ball, has good footwork, and covers ground. Is a very good student.
