Christian Fedko is a 2017 3B/C, MIF with a 5-11 195 lb. frame from Gibsonia, PA who attends Vincentian Acad/Duquesne Univ. Medium frame with a strong, athletic build. Primary third baseman, stays low while traveling to the baseball with very smooth footwork. Flashed solid range to each side with loose athletic strides. Clean glove actions while funneling baseball out front and to back hand. Works through transition very quick and can released from multiple arm slot generated accurate, on line carry across the infield. Right handed hitter with an even, balanced stance and sweeping leg lift trigger. Hands load to a deep, strong position while lower half launches to contact with linear actions. Direct path to contact with a naturally leveraged plane through extension. Swung with intent to drive the baseball with authority while utilizing a gap to gap approach. Consistently squared up baseball throughout batting practice producing hard rising line drives. Very good student. Committed to UCONN.
