Troy Riggs is a 2014 SS/3B with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Upton, KY who attends Central Hardin HS. Medium athletic build, some present strength. Right handed hitter, static pre-load approach, limited shift or rhythm, has some strength and bat speed, qick hands, solid line drive contact, has some gap power, aggressive swing, could improve with adjustments. 7.31 runner, moves well in the infield, good infield actions through the ball, soft hands, arm strength still developing. Also pitched, short arm action, hides the ball effectively, 3/4's slot, balanced delivery, fastball to 76 mph, has some feel for soft curveball and sinking change up, throws strikes. Good student.
