Reid Bonner is a 2013 MIF with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from North Liberty, IA who attends West HS. Booner has a medium athletic build. Showed good actions in infield. Clean smooth transfer and an arm that works. With a good feel in the infield. At the plate he has an open stance with an aggressive contact approach, is a gap to gap hitter with pop in his bat. Is short to the ball with a simple compact swing. Line drive swing plane, and gets down to the ball. He also has excellent speed. Bonner is an athletic player and is an interesting prospect to follow.
