Austin Prendergast is a 2016 LHP/1B with a 5-8 162 lb. frame from West Babylon, NY who attends West Babylon High School. Has a developing body with room to fill out. On the mound, he had a slow tempo delivery with a long arm circle in back and an extended 3/4 release. His fastball has arm side run and showed the ability to throw strikes consistently. He pitches to contact. At first base, showed solid hands and had feel around the bag. During BP, he has a contact approach and displayed the ability to go the other way. Will improve with more time on the field.
