Ryan Bruning is a 2013 C/OF with a 6-2 210 lb. frame from Missouri City, TX who attends Ridge Point. Large frame, strong athletic build. Good bat speed, crushed a ball that registered at 90 mph off the bat against live pitching. Good extension, loft in swing, good raw power, potential to develop more as he learns to incorporate his lower half into his swing even more. Aggressive hitter, very good raw tools, strong at contact, can get overaggressive at times, tools are there, change to develop. Runs well for size, playable arm strength. Short arm action behind the plate, moves well in OF. Good student.
