Tyler Morton is a 2015 SS/RHP with a 5-10 135 lb. frame from Columbus, NE who attends Scotus Central HS. Slender young build, room to get stronger. 7.55 runner, good infield actions, balanced footwork, good transfer and release, some arm strength and carry on throws, tools to continue to improve defensively. Right handed hitter, high hand set up, big stride into contact, stays balanced well, swings hard, line drive contact, has some bat speed for his age and strength level. Also pitched, quick compact arm circle, clean arm action, easy repeatable delivery. Fastball to 81 mph, nice late life, change up is a nice pitch with arm speed and life, short breaking slider with some bite. Works quickly and has feel for locating all three pitches. Might have a higher ceiling as a pitcher. Good student.
