Riley Burton is a 2014 2B/OF/SS with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Kennett Square, PA who attends Kennett HS. Medium build and has good athleticism with some room to fill out. Shows some arm strength from the outfield, profiles best there. Decent infield actions, needs a more consistent release point. Right-handed hitter, hits from a balanced, wide stance, holds his hands high. Has some present strength and flashes some pop to his pull side, swings the bat very hard, looking to pull. There is some length to his swing, also has good lift, puts the bat on the ball consistently, needs to get his lower half more involved. Very good student.

Riley Burton is a 2014 2B/OF, SS with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Kennett Square, PA who attends Kennett High School. He has a medium frame and an athletic build with room to add strength. In the infield, he showed good lateral agility while staying online and making accurate throws. As for the outfield, he had a quick first step with a short arm action, and made good accurate throws. During BP, Burton showed the ability to use all fields and hit the ball where its pitched, with a line drive swing plane, having quick hands and some lift in his swing. Riley also excels in the classroom.
