Drew Yanecek is a 2015 3B/RHP with a 6-2 178 lb. frame from Cedar Rapids, IA who attends Prairie HS. Young lean athletic frame with room to fill. Hits right handed from an open stance with a middle to opposite field approach. Showed solid in game swings with some bat speed and balance but could improve his timing and rhythm. Defensively showed good actions and transfer. Has solid hands and arm will play at 3B. Also pitched. Tall ¾ delivery, longer back side and turns back to hitter at balance point. Throws downhill and repeats delivery well. FB topped out at 77 with some arm side run. 65 mph CB had 10-4 shape. Strike thrower. One of the younger players that participated. Good student.
