Jake Doty is a 2015 C with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Fremont, CA who attends Irvington HS. Long athletic build with room to fill, projectable body. Quick feet defensively, long loose arm action, ball comes out of hand easy, needs to shorten actions to cut down on pop time, has the physical tools. High hand set, good separation of upper and lower halves in swing, hand drop load, good leverage in swing, aggressive hitter, flashes pop, potential to develop power with physical maturity. Interesting young player to follow. Very good student.
