Thomas Johns is a 2016 3B/1B/RHP with a 5-11 190 lb. frame from Pinson, AL who attends Clay-Chalkville HS. Thick wide shouldered build, good strength for his age. Right handed hitter, rotational line drive swing, high hands with a quiet load, line drive swing plane, hard mid field contact, has the strength to hit. Shows some arm strength at third base, will have to improve quickness/speed to stay at the position. Also pitched, low effort simple delivery mechanics, fastball to 75 mph, soft curveball, threw strikes and worked ahead. Good student.
