Austin Bush is a 2014 1B/3B with a 6-5 240 lb. frame from Turlock, CA who attends Turlock HS. Extra large and strong build, looks the part. Left handed hitter, long aggressive swing, will pull off early, patient hitter who looks to recognize pitches, has bat speed, ball comes off the barrel hard, made solid contact but swing mechanics will have to calm down against next level pitching, obvious power potential that can be developed. Good glove and actions at first base, has good footwork, solid arm strength, big target, has also played third base. Has a ceiling if the hitting aptitude is there. Follow closely. Very good student.
