Michael Boden is a 2015 RHP/2B with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Atlanta, GA who attends Lakeside. Medium, athletic build with a lean, projectable build and room to fill out with added strength. Ran a 7.15 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, throws from an over the top arm slot with a full arm action coming through the back side. Works exclusively from the stretch, small leg raise delivery, gets on top of the ball well, hands stay glove to body at start of delivery, finishes tall and on line. Fastball topped out at 77 mph with slight run to his arm side which he uses to induce ground ball contact, occasionally gets cutting action. Shows depth on 12-6 curveball with a nice feel for it at 69 mph. Quick feet in the infield, high release with an easy arm action and some strength across on throws. Right-handed hitter, shows hand speed in swing with contact to pull side, line drive swing plane with some lift, shows ability to hit to the opposite field. Outstanding student.
