Nick Boswell is a 2014 RHP/OF with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Destin, FL who attends Fort Walton Beach HS. Lean young build, beginnings of some strength. Full delivery, long extended arm circle, 3/4's arm slot, stays on line and balanced well. Mid 70's fastball, topped out at 78 mph, gets some arm side running action. Big breaking 10/4 frisbee curveball, throws strikes and pitches to contact. 7.34 runner, sound outfield actions and fundamentals. Right handed hitter, open upright stance, high hands, line drive swing plane, stays inside the ball well, hits to all field, good hitting fundamentals. Should continue to improve with additional strength. Good student.
