Brett Decker is a 2015 LHP/1B with a 6-3 175 lb. frame from Warner Robins, GA who attends Veterans HS. Tall, lanky build, very good physical projection. Compact arm action in back, good loose extension out front, 3/4's arm slot, tends to fall off to 3B side on release affecting consistency and command. Upper 70's fastball, topped out at 79 mph, have seen up to 82 mph this past summer, has some arm side run when down in the zone. Good feel for change up with nice running action, tends to get on side and under curveball. Good arm but needs to refine delivery. Left handed hitter, has prospect hitting tools, long smooth leveraged swing, quick hands and present bat speed, hard line drive contact, ball jumps hard, will be interesting to see hit in a few years when he fills out. Follow both ways. Very good student.
