Ryan Pennington is a 2015 SS/RHP with a 5-10 140 lb. frame from Forney, TX who attends North Forney HS. Pennington has a medium-lean frame with room to fill out. As an infielder he gets in good position to field the ball with good fielding actions and quick feet. Playable arm strength with online carry. As a right handed pitcher he threw from a high 3/4 arm slot with a smooth delivery, repeats delivery well. Attacks the zone with his fastball, fastball has natural cut action to it. Showed good running ability with a 6.81 in the 60. As a right handed hitter he hit from a square stance with a line drive swing plane and made consistent contact, showed the ability to drive the ball the other way. Good Student.
