Cross Austin is a 2016 OF/ with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Spring, TX who attends John Cooper. Austin has a medium sized frame with a young build. Defensively he has good footwork in the outfield with solid actions. He has some arm strength and his arm works. At the plate, Austin swings from a wide base and uses a no load approach. He stays rotational in his swing and showed some bat speed in batting practice. In the game, he showed some aggression at the plate and got some use out of his lower half. He's a young player with some tools to develop. Very good student.
