Defensively he has solid footwork with nice actions. Maciel has some arm strength with carry on his throws and is accurate. At the plate, Maciel starts with an upright stance and leg lift trigger to start his swing and has an aggressive approach. He has a loose swing with bat speed and stays inside the ball well. The ball jumps up off his bat when squared up and he has some power potential. Solid player, very good student.
