Lee (Clay) Schroeder is a 2014 1B/RHP with a 6-2 188 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Clear Lake HS. Large and strong athletic build. Left handed hitter, big leg lift trigger, big bat waggle/hand hitch load, both affect consistent timing, pull approach, short swing, lacks present separation to take advantage of strength, ball comes off barrel OK when centered. Big target at first base defensively, moves well around the bag. Also pitched, upper 60's fastball, balanced delivery, long arm action, throws strikes. Good student.
