Blake Allison is a 2013 RHP with a 5-10 173 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Cy-Fair HS. Medium to short frame, some developing present strength. Mid 3/4's arm slot with low elbow release, high leg lift to start delivery, stays on line well and repeats mechanics. Fastball to 82 mph, gets good arm side running action at times, good feel for upper 60's curveball, gets over it for 11/5 break, tends to slow arm on CB release, developing change up. Aggressive pitcher, attacks hitters early in count and works ahead, throws strikes. Outstanding student.
