Blake Foster is a 2016 OF/SS with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Ft Worth, TX who attends Boswell. Foster has medium sized frame with a thin lean build. He runs well at 7.02 in the sixty showed good speed on the bases. He has quick feet in the outfield and shows some arm strength from the outfield. At the plate, Foster starts with a square stance and uses a simple approach at the plate, He swings on a line drive plane with gap to gap pop. He generates some bat speed and showed the ability to hit to all fields. Interesting young player.
