Habig is a 6-2, 170 lb junior catcher from New Orleans with a nice projectable body. He ran the 60 in 7.42 and threw 67 mph during drills with a best pop time of 2.27. Habig hits from a very wide stance at the plate with no stride and limited use of his lower half. He has surprising strength in his hands and uses them well to create bat speed and square up to the ball. Habig hit the ball solidly to all fields in game situations and handles himself like a mature young hitter who will just keep improving as he gets stronger. Follow for future offensive improvements.
