Adam Sayles is a 2006 catcher/first baseman from Newton South HS in Newton, Massachusetts, with a lean and athletic 6'0"/180 pound frame. As a right handed hitter, Adam hits from a crouched stance with a no stride approach at the plate. He gets leverage in his swing with a line drive swing plane and makes consistent line drive contact as a hitter. Sayles has good feet behind the plate with a good transfer on his 2.25 pop times.
