2012 National Underclass Showcase-Main Event
Cory Castellano is a 2015 SS/OF/RHP with a 5-5 114 lb. frame from Fort Myers, FL who attends Bishop Verot HS. Thin young build with room to fill. Primary middle infielder who also plays the outfield but pitched exclusively at this event. Pitches from a high three quarters arm slot, short arm action. Lacks extension to his pitches, can incorporate more lower half into delivery to generate additional velocity, solid arm speed but doesn't get much lower half push or finish his pitches yet, as he learns to do so he'll see significant improvements in velocity and command. Good student.
