Ralph MacDonald is a 2006 outfielder from Lovett High School in Atlanta, Georgia, with a 5'10'', 155 lb. frame. MacDonald showed better game quickness than his sixty time might suggest. He has a good first step and his instincts help him get a good read on things. Offensively he is a right handed hitter with a very wide stance. He is a contact type hitter with a line drive swing plane. He has a short bat path to the ball and stays balanced throughout his swing. He likes the ball on the inner half and looks to pull it to the left side. MacDonald plays the game the way it is meant to play it and he competes. He is a very good student as well.
