Pull approach, early load, solid bat speed, aggressive hitter, good hand-eye ability, should see results improve significantly as he develops a smoother flow into bat acceleration. Flashed pop when squared, developing raw power, early load forces him to hit from a still start but makes contact in spite of hindrance, suggesting that with refined mechanics he could be a very good hitter. Quick release behind the plate, posted a good pop time of 1.93 in workout, still working on finer points of receiving. Excellent student.
