Andrew Aaron Martinez is a 2015 SS with a 5-8 165 lb. frame from Cypress, TX who attends Cypress Christian HS. Young build and look, has some developing strength. Switch hitter, much better swing, approach and bat speed left handed, looks new to hitting right handed. Has some left handed bat speed, good balance, short and compact to the ball, quick hands, line drives to all fields, tends to upper cut ball at times. Sound infield fundamentals for his age, feet work well, good balance, soft hands at the ball, release long at this point with over the top release point, some arm strength, 7.37 runner. Good athlete who should keep improving. Good student.
