Chase Brewis is a 2013 RHP/OF with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Glen Bornie, MD who is Home Schooled. Slender young build, room to get stronger. High effort delivery, cross fire release, low 3/4's arm slot, very fast arm but not consistent mechanics. Fastball topped at 92 mph, big running action at 88 mph, will also cut fastball at 85 with good effect. Change up is his best off speed pitch, maintains arm speed well, tends to get under soft sweeping curveball. Very good raw stuff when in the strike zone, short/middle reliever profile with present delivery. Right handed hitter, pre-load approach,long swing, high extended finish, line drive contact. Good student.

Pitches from low 3/4 slot, online delivery, plus movement on fastball, big tailing action, short arm action, quick arm, deceptive delivery. Hitters struggle to pick up the ball, hides it well, deceptively quick, cross fire motion, sweeping curveball with tight spin. Threw 90 from the outfield, moves well, solid defensive actions. Contact approach at the plate, solid round of BP, aggressive hitter with some projection. Good student.
