James Carr is a 2015 RHP/OF with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Clear Lake HS. Very nice 2015 pitcher's build, long, loose and projectable. Sound pitching mechanics, medium arm circle, high 3/4's slot, arm action works well, throws downhill, stays balanced and under control in delivery. Fastball to 78 mph, mostly straight, shows feel for 11/5 curveball with some spin and depth, has an idea how to pitch, mix and locate. Right handed hitter, straight stance, has some developing bat speed, rotational swing with some backwards lean, finds the barrel well. Has all the ingredients in a young pitcher to keep improving, follow closely. Good student.
