Jalen Luter is a 2015 1B/OF with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Madison, AL who attends Sparkman HS. Medium athletic build, some present strength. Left handed hitter, straight stance, moves into contact well and uses his lower half, smooth quiet load, quick hands and has bat speed, sees the ball well, good hitting rhythm and balance, hits the ball hard to all fields, has gap power. Polished hitter with nice mechanics and a feel for hitting. Agile at first base defensively, soft hands, good footwork, shows his athleticism, limited arm strength. Very good student.
