Logan Ray is a 2013 LHP/1B with a 6-3 205 lb. frame from Prairieville, LA who attends Catholic HS. Strong athletic build, mature look. Very slow paced leg raise delivery, high 3/4's arm slot, compact arm action front and back, pitches over hard front side. Upper 70's fastball topped out at 80 mph, mostly straight, tends to miss up with fastball due to front side mechanics, shows good feel for curveball, throws strikes with curveball and back doors right handed hitters effectively, some feel for low 70's change up as well. Has an idea how to pitch and competes. Good student.
