Josh Debacker is a 2014 LHP/OF, 1B with a 6-3 175 lb. frame from Kansas City, MO who attends Lee's Summit North. Debacker has a large frame with a long lean build. He pitches from an overhand to high 3/4 arm slot with a deliberate delivery. He maintains balance through his delivery and stays online. Debacker pitches downhill and and gets some run on his fastball. He also throws a 1/7 curve ball with nice shape and it shows potential. Defensively, Debacker has arm strength with some carry and throws with a long loose arm action. He has fluid actions and projectable defensive tools. At the plate, Debacker starts with an upright stance and swings on a line drive plane. He has a loose swing and made good contact. Debacker hits to all fields and showed good hitting tools. He's projects better as an outfielder presently and his grade reflects that.
